Dr. Daldrup-Link Received Harry Fisher Award
November 12, 2019
Dr. Heike Daldrup-Link was presented the Harry Fisher Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Contrast Media Research Symposium in Sicily, Italy for her research on MR contrast agents.  Her research includes basic and translational pediatric molecular imaging and she is especially known for the development and clinical translation of nanoparticles for use in cancer imaging, therapy and stem cell labeling.
The recipient of the award is chosen from the field of academic and industry scientists by a panel of peers as the most significant contributor to the advance of contrast media research. Established in 1989, the award is named after the late Harry W. Fischer, who was widely considered a pioneer in advancing the study and development of contrast media.
The award is not an area-specific accolade such as chemistry or biology, rather it is given in recognition of overall contribution to science related to contrast media.
Congratulations, Dr. Daldrup-Link!
