History
Dr. Chitra Dinakar (1966-2020)
Dr. Chitra Dinakar was a highly respected allergist/immunologist and pediatrician, passionate patient advocate, dedicated research investigator, cherished colleague and mentor, beloved wife, and mother to two talented sons. She was the recipient of numerous awards including the Jerome Glaser Distinguished Service Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics, acknowledging her significant contributions to research, patient care and education in the field of Allergy and Immunology. Towards the end of her life, Dr. Dinakar spearheaded and successfully established the Stanford Allergy, Asthma, and Immunodeficiency Clinic. As a strong, energetic and sacrificial leader, she knew how to uniquely inspire and lift others up, and we will always remember her positive vibrant spirit.

Anna Chen Arroyo, MD MPH
Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine
Dr. Arroyo is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who currently directs the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunodeficiency program at Stanford. Dr. Arroyo’s clinical interests include drug (including chemotherapy) allergy and asthma. Her clinical research is focused on investigating maternal and early life risk factors in allergic disease development, health and healthcare disparities in allergic diseases, and understanding how allergies change over a person's lifetime.
Jennifer Camacho, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Camacho is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who has a specialized clinical interest in allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and aerobiology and currently leads the Allergen Immunotherapy clinical program. Dr. Camacho is also passionate about addressing health disparities in allergic diseases through community partnership and providing allergy education and resources to the local community.
Meng Chen, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Chen is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who currently leads the Electronic-Consult allergy service and the Urticaria/Angioedema clinical program. Dr. Chen is interested in understanding how technological tools can be utilized to advance allergy/immunology care, physician wellness, and medical education.
Lauren E. Eggert, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Eggert is an academic physician board-certified in pulmonary and critical care who has a specialized clinical interest in severe asthma and currently leads the Airways Disease program. Dr. Eggert has an interest in allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and conducts clinical research in severe asthma.
Anne Y. Liu, MD
Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine
Dr. Liu is an academic physician who has dual board-certification in allergy/immunology and in infectious disease. Dr. Liu currently leads the Drug Desensitization Program and has a special interest in addressing antibiotic allergy in immunocompromised patients.
Jyothi Tirumalasetty, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Tirumalasetty is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who has a specialized clinical and research interest in severe asthma, health equity in food allergy, digital health, and sustainability in medicine.
Ngoc Tran, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Tran is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who has a specialized interest in understanding food allergy in diverse populations.
Linda Zhu, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Zhu is an academic physician board-certified in allergy/immunology who has a specialized clinical interest in drug allergy, specifically in high-risk patients such as pregnant or transplant patients. Dr. Zhu is interested in quality improvement and developing optimal clinical workflows to improve patient care.
