Subspecialty Clinical Track
Fellows selecting this clinical track will become experts within a subspecialty in pulmonary and critical care medicine so that they may bring their knowledge to bear at an academic center requiring these specialized skills. Clinical subspecialty strengths at Stanford include pulmonary hypertension, lung transplantation, interstitial lung disease and cystic fibrosis, and interventional pulmonary medicine. Fellows will be paired with a faculty Mentor within the subspecialty and spend their 14-16 months focused on enrichment rotations, quality improvement, and research relevant to the field of specialty. Fourth-year non-ACMGE fellowship positions are also offered in pulmonary hypertension and lung transplantation.
