Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship
We will be participating in the NRMP and ERAS programs in 2024 for our 2025-2026 fellowship positions, and will be accepting applications.
"In alignment with the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors (APCCMPD), our national professional society, and to ensure a uniform interview process that is equitable to all applicants, our fellowship interviews will be held exclusively virtually. Qualifications: Completed three years of ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and be IM board eligible. Graduates from medical schools outside the U.S. must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). For information regarding Stanford's visa requirements, please visit our GME Website.
Please submit the required documents through ERAS only:
- Current CV
- Copy of Medical School Transcript and Certificate
- At least 3 original letters of recommendation. Please include a letter from director of residency program.
- Copies of actual USMLE scores
- ECFMG certificate, if applicable
- Translations of any of the above listed items from FMGs.
- Recent Photograph
- Visa Status
Information for International Medical Graduates
Stanford Hospital and Clinics uses the J-1 visa program sponsored by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
ECFMG requires applicants to pay the application fee through ECFMG’s On-line Applicant Status and Information System (OASIS), which can be accessed through the ECFMG website at www.ecfmg.org. Please note that the J-1 sponsorship application fee is non-refundable.
