School-Based Mental Health ECHO

Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is an evidence-based, interactive, guided-practiced model that uses technology to facilitate mentoring and knowledge sharing, enabling clinicians to provide best practice care for their communities.

Utilizing the ECHO model, we aim to improve the knowledge and treatment of pediatric mental health disorders in school settings across California. Together with our school and community partners, we will enhance knowledge of best practices in school-related topics, foster professional connections between providers and school professionals, and provide clinical guidance that enhances youth mental health in the educational setting. The target audience for this ECHO includes educators, school administrators, school counselors, school psychologists, district leadership, educational support staff, and paraprofessionals.
