Advancing Early Psychosis Care in the United States: The Complexities of Real-World Care

The 2nd National Conference on Advancing Early Psychosis Care in the United States: The Complexities of Real-World Care, was held in New York City in advance of the IEPA Conference. PEPPNET, in partnership with the APA, the NIMH, SAMHSA, and the SMI Adviser, brought together mental health clinicians, policymakers, and those with lived experienced in recovery for a day of speakers, workshops, and panel presentations focused on the care and treatment of individuals who are either at clinical high risk for psychosis, or in the early stages, or first episode of psychosis.

This event was held in connection to the 2018 IEPA Conference in Boston on October 7, 2018. PEPPNET was excited to partner with NIMH, SAMHSA, and the IEPA Local Program Team on creating this inaugural gathering of early psychosis programs from across the US, which drew over 300 attendees and featured many of the nation's leading voices in the area of clinical high risk and first episode psychosis.
