Spotlight:

Eight members of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are among the world's most highly cited researchers in 2019

We are thrilled to celebrate faculty members and trainees in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences who have been included in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science's 2019 Highly Cited Researcher’s list – a testament to the ongoing breadth, scope and impact of their work.

Through the volume of publications and papers which have drawn large numbers of citations over about the last decade, eight members of our department have been identified as providing significant influence in their areas of study.  As Clarivate puts it:

"Highly Cited Researchers are among those who have demonstrated significant and
broad influence reflected in their publication of multiple papers, highly cited by their peers
over the course of the last decade. These highly cited papers rank in the top 1% by citations
for a chosen field or fields and year in Web of Science.

Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, the Web of Science Group’s Highly
Cited Researchers are one in 1,000."

We add our congratulations and gratitude to the faculty and trainees highlighted in the 2019 list.
