Spotlight: Stanford Psychiatry at the 2024 Annual Meeting of AACAP
Members of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry gathered in Seattle, Washington, the week of October 14-19 for the annual meeting. AACAP President Dr. Tami Benton’s presidential theme this year was: Bringing the Village to the Children. The theme focused on ways that child and adolescent psychiatrists can be more engaged in the many child-serving systems in the US to better serve children and families affected by mental illness.
Congratulations to Dr. Lawrence Fung, who was inducted as a Distinguished Fellow of AACAP, and to Dr. Ashley Shatola, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow, who received a 2024 Educational Outreach Program Award this year.
