Val Scott, RN, MSN, was born in Scotland and received a Diploma of Nursing and an ICU certification from Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Glasgow, Scotland. She moved to the United States twenty years ago and fell in love with California. After years of clinical nursing, including 10 years in critical care, she moved to clinical research in 1990. She has worked at Stanford coordinating pulmonary hypertension clinical trials since early 1998. She is the coordinator of the Association of Clinical Research Nurses.

Drew Hsi manages the PH Database for the Vera Moulton Wall Center and assists with clinical research on adult PH patients. His responsibilities include abstracting and preparing data for research studies, and assisting with clinical trial coordination.

Drew received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley. He worked many years at Hewlett Packard Company as an information technology engineer before deciding to leave to begin a new career in healthcare.
