Matthew Gologorsky
Research Assistant, Pathology Sponsored Projects
Bio Matthew received his B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2018. There, he worked in the lab of Dr. Paul Jenkins exploring the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disease. Matthew joined the Howitt lab at Stanford in the fall of 2018, where he is studying how intestinal tuft cells coordinate the activity of the gut epithelium, immune system, and enteric nervous system to mount effective defense mechanisms against intestinal parasites.

Nathan Reticker-Flynn
Basic Life Res Scientist, Pathology Sponsored Projects
Bio Nathan is a tumor immunologist working in the laboratory of Dr. Edgar Engleman. He works at the interfaces of Systems Biology, mouse models, and cancer immunology where he investigates interactions between tumors and the immune system during cancer metastasis. He performed his PhD work in Biomedical Engineering with Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia at MIT where he studied glycobiology and ECM interactions during cancer metastasis.

Mindy Tsai
Sr Res Scientist-Basic Ls, Pathology Sponsored Projects
Bio Mindy Tsai is Sr. Research Scientist in the Department of Pathology. She received the D.M.Sc. (Doctor of Medical Sciences) in Oral Biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Tsai?s research focuses on studies that are designed to understand the regulation of mast cell and basophil development and to elucidate the roles of these cells in health and disease. Dr. Tsai?s research approaches include in vitro analyses of mast cells and basophils in human and mice, as well as using mouse models of disease to investigate the effector and immunoregulatory functions of these cells in vivo.
