Shawna Follis, PhD, MS, is an Instructor and K99 Fellow in Epidemiology, researching the risk factors of cardiometabolic diseases. She completed her postdoctoral training at Stanford, as a Propel Postdoctoral Scholar from 2021 to 2023 and a NIH T32 Postdoctoral Fellow from 2020 to 2021. She received her PhD in epidemiology at the University of Arizona and her master’s degree in anthropology from Purdue University.
