Dr. Jiayin Xue is a pediatrician with a strong interest in value-based care delivery and population health management. She joined the Stanford Clinical Excellence Research Center (CERC) in 2019. Currently, her research is focused on healthcare delivery costs, and she leads several educational and strategic initiatives at the CERC. Prior to joining CERC, she was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where she engaged in organizational strategy work across a number of sectors including healthcare, social impact, and financial services. She completed her residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and currently practices clinically at The Permanente Medical Group.
Dr. Jiayin Xue received her M.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.P.H. degree with a concentration in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard School of Public Health. She also received her B.S. with Highest Distinction and Highest Honors in Chemistry and minors in English and Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
