Cristian Torres holds a B.S. in Human Biology with a concentration in Physiology, Sex, and Gender from Stanford University. During his time as an undergraduate, Cristian worked as an RA in the dorms and volunteered at a free clinic in San Jose. Additionally, he helped direct and manage Stanford's Sexual Health and Peer Resource Center on campus. Now he works as an Anatomy Scholar in the division of Clinical Anatomy at Stanford School of Medicine and as a Research Assistant at Vasper Systems, a company specializing in novel exercise and rehabilitation technology. His scholarly work focuses on the benefits of Virtual Reality technology in the medical education setting. Outside of research, he enjoys going on runs and playing video games.
