Lluvia Gonzalez-Castro
Clinical Research Coordinator, Anesthesia
Bio I graduated SJSU in the Spring of 2019 with a BS in Psychology, focused on Neuroscience & Clinical Psychology, and a minor in Applied Computing for Behavioral and Social Sciences. Currently, I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at Stanford's Systems Neuroscience and Pain Lab (SNAPL), investigating the efficacy of a behavioral class for reducing opioid use among chronic pain patients. In my spare time, I study and teach Yoga. I received my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry to help spread the integration of therapeutic yoga in the healthcare system and the larger community. I'm also looking into Clinical Ph.D. programs that have an emphasis on contemplative and/or mind-body science.
