Bio I graduated SJSU in the Spring of 2019 with a BS in Psychology, focused on Neuroscience & Clinical Psychology, and a minor in Applied Computing for Behavioral and Social Sciences. Currently, I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at Stanford's Systems Neuroscience and Pain Lab (SNAPL), investigating the efficacy of a behavioral class for reducing opioid use among chronic pain patients. In my spare time, I study and teach Yoga. I received my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry to help spread the integration of therapeutic yoga in the healthcare system and the larger community. I'm also looking into Clinical Ph.D. programs that have an emphasis on contemplative and/or mind-body science.

T. Kyle Harrison, MD

Bio Dr. T. Kyle Harrison is a Clinical Professor (Affiliated- PAVA) of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University and a staff physician at the VA Palo Alto. He earned his MD and did his residency training in anesthesiology at Stanford University. He completed a medical education and simulation fellowship at Stanford and then obtained additional training in addiction medicine at both Stanford and the VA Palo Alto. He is interested in the intersection of pain and addiction. He attends on both the acute pain service as well as the addiction medicine clinic at the VA Palo Alto. His academic interest include addiction, pain, peri operative management of buprenorphine, conversion of acute to chronic pain, and medical simulation. Dr. Christiane Klinkhardt

Bio Dr. med. univ. Christiane Klinkhardt, MD, is a Visiting Postdoctural Scholar at Stanford University in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine in the School of Medicine.
Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, she studied Medicine at Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria. As part of her studies she completed a research trimester at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, and obtained her doctoral degree by writing and defending a thesis about her work in 2014. As she was always particularly interested in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine she spent as much time as possible gaining clinical experiences in various countries across the world and completed her elective anaesthesia rotations during her final year at medical school at Charité (Berlin, Germany), Auckland City Hospital (New Zealand) and Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA).
Dr. Klinkhardt started her residency in Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Unfallkrankenhaus, Berlin, Germany, in 2015 and was in her third year when she took a sabbatical leave to relocate to the Bay Area, California, with her husband.
At Stanford her research is related to medical education and she hopes that it will ultimately improve patient safety. -

Bio Theresa is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years? experience at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, California. She received her graduate degree from University of California, San Francisco.
Theresa?s current clinical practice within the Division of Pain Medicine, focuses primarily on evaluation and treatment of individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
As part of her commitment to education and professional development, she lectures extensively on topics surrounding pain management both locally and regionally. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles, abstracts, and book chapters on topics pertaining to pain assessment and management. Theresa is a clinical preceptor for NP and PA students in the greater Bay Area; she also mentors and instructs the fellows and residents on the Stanford Pain Service.
Theresa is actively involved in multiple professional organizations including: The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Society of Pain Management Nursing and American Academy of Pain Medicine. As part of her commitment to safety and ethical treatment of patients with pain; Theresa has provided services as an independent expert witness on issues related to pain management and treatment. -

Bio Anuradha (Anu) Roy is the Project Manager for the NCCIH R01 Grant, Single Session Pain Catastrophizing Treatment Efficacy and Mechanisms Trial in Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford Medical School. Originally from the East Coast, she received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and her MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. After years of working abroad in global public health, her research interest transitioned to the public health impact of chronic health conditions - in particular, chronic pain - and understanding the intersection of mind?s impact on health and well-being. For the past three years, on the R01, she has been running day-to-day operations and management of study recruitment, data collection/pre-processing, and reporting. In the near future, she plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. In her spare time, Anu enjoys home/exterior design projects, spending time with her partner and dog, creating community, and finding the best food in the San Francisco Bay Area.
