I?m interested in many aspects of biomedical informatics
but focus mainly on biomedical knowledge discovery
and particularly knowledge discovery guided by domain knowledge.
Knowledge discovery can be defined as the process of identifying
new and relevant knowledge units from large amount of data.
I use these computer science approaches to study drug response variability.
Indeed, many factors such as genetics, medical conditions, diet, treatments may influence how an individual may respond to a particular drug.
I am exploring how we can leverage clinical data to a better understanding of these factors and their impact.
