Prior to joining Stanford, I was a Skilled Nursing Authorization Specialist and Quality Program Assistant at Kaiser Permanente. My most previous role involved data mining, database maintenance and creation, statistical and financial reporting, document creation, Medicare & HMO billing approvals, program support and medical supply procurement. I have spent the last decade working on quality systems and streamlining programs and services through staff training on best practice procedures to improve patient care and experience. I have 20 years of experience in championing compliance and best practice guidelines, program support, project management, procurement and business finance.
Current Role at Stanford
At the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine (LCGM), I provide operational support to the division and administrative support to the executive and functional directors. This support includes HR coordination, document creation, calendaring, event management, travel arrangements, procurement, expense reporting, website maintenance and more. My role is not only to be an internal resource to both staff and leadership with logistics and material needs but to also act as a liaison for services, on/off boarding and outside resources.
