Bio
Kimberly Schertzer is the Director of Emergency Medicine Simulation at Stanford. She is fellowship-trained in Simulation and earned a Masters in Healthcare Simulation from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Schertzer currently directs the Stanford EM Simulation Fellowship. Her professional interests include using simulation to improve communication skills and mitigate skill decay. She has particular expertise in Mastery Learning for procedural training, and she is passionate about clinical event debriefing, procedural skills maintenance, and in situ simulation. She is eager to collaborate with those who share those passions.
