Kevin received his B.S. in Biology from Stanford University in 2012, where he completed an honors thesis studying the role that microRNAs play in regulating the social and neural plasticity in an African cichlid fish, Astatotilapia burtoni. During undergrad, he also gained experience working with patients in the Stanford Hospital Emergency Department and at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He currently coordinates clinical trials for ongoing translational research conducted by the research group and performs wetlab research. In the future, he plans to attend medical school and eventually become an emergency medicine physician.
