Jessica Plaza holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University and was a member of Stanford Softball and Team USA for multiple years during her undergrad. Her undergraduate course load was focused on Human Performance and Mental Health. During this time she completed an internship with Stanford Sports Performance where she was involved with the athletes and explaining efficient movement patterns. In the Division of Clinical Anatomy, Jessica worked as a research assistant where she has been a TA for the Clinical Anatomy Summer Program. Her scholarly work is related to enhancing the digital media available for the Anatomage table where she lead the project on cryomacrotome slicing of human specimens. She is now in pursuit of her masters in Stanford's Physician Assistant program.
