An internationally recognized medical journalist, she consults regularly with the media on reproductive health topics. She holds a masters in both journalism from Columbia and in epidemiology and clinical research from Stanford.She co-hosts The V Word, a women’s health podcast, and enjoys writing, baking, spinning, and traveling with her husband and two children.She also speaks Spanish.
