Bio
Dr. Jean Oak is Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at Stanford University, where she serves as Director of the Clinical Flow Cytometry Laboratory and Network Medical Director for Clinical Pathology Services across the Stanford Health Care network.
Her clinical and research interests focus on the development, validation, and implementation of diagnostic technologies for hematologic and immunologic disorders. Her work spans clinical flow cytometry, hematopathology, laboratory informatics, and clinical laboratory operations. In her network leadership role, she oversees laboratory standardization, quality initiatives, and implementation of diagnostic services across multiple hospital and ambulatory laboratory sites. She has led initiatives involving laboratory information systems, diagnostic data integration, and emerging technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical diagnostics.
