Carmen grew up in Northern California and graduated from Oberlin College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry.

Current Role at Stanford

Ms. Azevedo focuses on the translation and synthesis of radiotracers for clinical implementation, specifically [68Ga]-Bombesin, [68Ga]-PSMA, [18F]PI-2620, and [64Cu]-BFAb. Organizing the radioactivity schedule and maintenance of lab inventory are also duties that she fulfills.
