ADVANCE BIOBANK PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We are proud to build a growing community of Asian and Asian American participants— providing essential representation to understand why diabetes and metabolic diseases differ in Asian and Asian American populations. This diversity strengthens the quality and impact of our research.

A large, Asian-focused biobank allows us to uncover genetic, immune, molecular, and disease-pattern differences often missed in national datasets. With thousands of participants, the ADVANCE Biobank is becoming one of the most comprehensive Asian-specific research resources in the country, enabling more precise prevention and care for Asian and Asian American communities.
