Join us for the Stanford Plastic Surgery Oral Board Exam Review Course, an interactive and comprehensive live event. This in-person course is designed to build your confidence and prepare you for the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) Oral Board Examination.

Through didactic lectures, individual mock oral examinations, and group mock oral examinations, you will gain a thorough understanding of board-relevant cases and receive the tools you need to succeed. Each candidate will have the opportunity to participate in two practice oral examinations and participate in multiple group mock oral examinations, providing an immersive learning experience that mirrors the format and content of the actual examination.

INTENDED AUDIENCE

This course is designed for surgeons who are preparing for the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) Oral Board Examination and are looking for a comprehensive review of plastic surgery education.

The pricing for the Stanford Plastic Surgery Oral Board Exam Review Course is designed to provide the best value for our participants. The registration fee for the in-person course is $3,000, which includes access to all didactic lectures, and the opportunity to participate in two individual mock oral examinations as well as group mock oral examinations. Included as well is as access to course materials.

Dr. Ario Barzin is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Fremont, California and is affiliated with Washington Hospital-Fremont.

Jennifer Cheesborough, MD

Dr. Jennifer Cheesborough is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the Director of Breast Reconstruction Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor affiliated with Stanford University, with a special interest in breast reconstruction surgery.

Kirk Churukian, MD

Dr. Kirk Churukian is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University. He is also a highly regarded plastic surgeon in private practice, with a special interest in cosmetic surgery.

Lauren Fischer, MD

Dr. Lauren Fischer is a board-certified plastic surgeon who currently runs a private practice. She is also an active affiliate member of the medical staff at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital.

Rebecca Garza, MD

Dr. Rebecca Garza is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a private practice, specializing in cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, and complex reconstructive surgery. She has served on the Chicago Breast and Lymphedema Symposium program committee and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery’s Young Microsurgeons Group for several years and has also been a board member for the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dev Gurujal, MD

Dr. Dev Gurujal is a board-certified plastic surgeon and an Attending Physician specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Align Surgical Associates in San Francisco, CA. His clinical practice focuses on Gender Affirmation Surgery (Top and Bottom) and Aesthetic Surgery of the Body and Breast.

Peter Johannet, MD

Dr. Peter Johannet is a board-certified plastic surgeon, serving as the Chief of Veterans Affairs at Palo Alto Affiliated Faculty and a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University.

David Kahn, MD

Dr. David Kahn is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a focus on cosmetic surgery. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and Section Chief of Cosmetic Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Stanford University.

Rohit Khosla, MD

Dr. Rohit Khosla is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Robert Menard, MD

Robert Pearl, MD

Dr. Robert Pearl is a board-certified plastic surgeon, former CEO of The Permanente Medical Group, and former president of The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. He is a clinical professor of plastic surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and teaches courses on strategy and leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Brian Pridgen, MD

Dr. Briad Pridgen is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a subspecialization in microsurgery, hand, and upper extremity surgery. Additionally, he has an interest in peripheral nerve surgery, including nerve transfer and repair, as well as TMR and RPNI treatments.
