Mission Statement
To train innovative leaders in pediatric hospital medicine who will advance our field through excellence in scholarship, teaching, and high value, evidence-based clinical care within the hospital and across health systems to promote the health and equity of all children.
Program Aims
Stanford University offers a 2-year ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program with the following aims:
- To train academically productive pediatric hospitalists in a breadth of possible areas including clinical research, medical education, quality improvement, advocacy, clinical informatics, global health and health services research.
- To provide outstanding clinical training focused on high-value and evidence-based care for patients with diverse needs across hospital systems and clinical settings.
- To develop humanistic leaders prepared to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary environments to lead healthcare systems changes.
