Talissa Oliveira Generoso graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil (2011-2017). From september-2014 to september-2015, she studied Sports and Exercise Sciences at the University of Birmingham, UK. In 2018, she worked as a doctor in the Brazilian Navy - Hospital Assistance Ship “Carlos Chagas”, providing medical assistance to the amazonic riverine communities. She concluded the Voluntary Military Service as First-Liutenant. From 2019 to 2022, Talissa Generoso did her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in São Paulo, Brazil, and from March, 2022 to February, 2023, she did a Fellowship in Pediatrics Orthopaedics in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. 

Talissa was awarded the Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship in Biomechanics and Orthopedics (2023-2024) through the RUSH-IBTS International Fellowship Program, granted by the Instituto Brasil de Tecnologias da Saúde (IBTS). During this fellowship, she conducted research on the biomechanics of musculoskeletal injuries at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, USA, for one year. Additionally, she has been offered a scholarship as a Visiting Instructor in Pediatric Spinal Deformities at Stanford University, California, USA, under the supervision of Dr. John Vorhies, for the 2024-2025 academic year.
