About Us
The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Stanford University brings together a dedicated team of physicians, healthcare providers, scientists, and educators. Our mission is to provide outstanding clinical care, push scientific research forward, and cultivate future leaders in infectious diseases. Our team brings a wide array of expertise to our clinical practice and applies diverse approaches to our research and scholarly endeavors. Our team boasts several nationally and internationally recognized academic research programs focused on microbial pathogenesis, clinical and molecular epidemiology of viral diseases, vaccine research, education research, and global health. Our faculty hold significant leadership roles in Stanford University School of Medicine, in the Department of Pediatrics, and in Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Through thoughtful engagement with patients, communities and colleagues, we strive to solve infectious disease challenges on local, national, and global scales.
