Fellows' College is a common educational experience for all fellows that includes a three-year longitudinal curriculum targeting commonalities in training future physicians, educators, and leaders. The curriculum maps to the AGCME and ABP core fellowship requirements including content on leadership, teaching, health care disparities, quality improvement, and more!

The Scholarship Round Robin is a speed mentoring event for first-year fellows, held in August, to highlight the variety of scholarship areas at Stanford. The purpose of the Scholarship Round Robin is to introduce fellows to the diverse array of scholarship and the faculty who are conducting research in these areas. To support fellows scholarship development, we invite first-year fellows to participate in the Scholarship Prep sessions that will be held in September and October.

The Scholarship Academy is a one-week course developed to introduce fellows to all areas of scholarship, with a focus on providing enough information for fellows to begin designing their scholarly project in preparation for working on a grant. The content is mapped to the ACGME and ABP core fellowship requirements. Topics include: project development, design, and process; grant writing principles; and an overview of biostatistics.

The Grant Writing Club is an interactive and dynamic grant writing workshop designed for all fellows in the Department of Pediatrics. It is designed to teach basic fundamentals of grant writing, including learning about all components of a grant submission, with the club culminating in participants having a complete MCHRI grant ready for submission.

The Scholarship Club is an interactive and dynamic research seminar designed for all fellows in the Department of Pediatrics.  We will discuss a variety of topics including, but not limited to, scientific & manuscript writing, poster development, statistics, survey development, research-related resources, works in progress, and so on. The content maps to the ACGME and ABP core fellowship requirements, and is appropriate for all fellows regardless of scholarship focus.

Career & Professional Development Series sessions are held monthly and support the fellows' personal and professional development. Sessions include debt management, how to conduct a job search, interview skills, and more!
