Diversity at Stanford

Our fellowship programs are committed to informing, recruiting, and supporting prospective fellows who identify as underrepresented minorities based on factors such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

As members of communities traditionally underrepresented in medicine, our goal is to recruit and train a diverse group of innovative leaders committed to and passionate about decreasing health disparities among children.  As clinicians, researchers, advocates, and teachers, we hope to diversify the face of pediatrics.

Fellowship Curriculum

The Fellowship Leadership Team within the Department of Pediatrics offers a range of curricula, activities, and resources to support fellows during their training.

All fellows are welcome and encouraged to attend these ongoing curriculum sessions, participate in social and wellness activities, and to spend time getting to know your classmates!

Fellows Benefits

Stanford Fellows are provided with a comprehensive benefits package. Learn more about the many benefits available to fellows.

Fellows' Council

Fellow's Council is a fellow-led committee that meets to form new initiatives, social opportunities and projects that support all fellows.  Council members act as a liaison to the fellowship leadership and have the opportunity to work on projects aimed at improving the fellowship experience and well-being for their community.
