Rotation Guide & Goals
- The pediatric transplant hepatology elective provides experience treating pre- and post- transplant patients and well as non-transplant patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The balance of inpatient/ outpatient and transplant vs non-transplant is flexible. Core components of the elective include participation in key clinical and educational conferences, such as liver radiology and pathology conferences, as well as a dedicated transplant management conference that combines case discussions with educational presentations. Residents will also be invited to attend the GI noon conference.
