Rotation Guide & Goals
Location: Northen Inyo Healthcare District (NIHD)
NIHD is a 25-bed critical access hospital with outpatient clincs located in beautiful Bishop, CA with easy access to Mammoth Lakes, CA and national parks. Our rural rotation residents will experience true, full-spectrum general pediatric care. Most time will be spent on general outpatient pediatric care, but the experience also includes time rounding in the hospital. Hosptial rounding includes newborns and low-volume pediatric inpatients. Additionally, there is delivery attendance for high-risk deliveries.
Rotations can be 2 or 4 weeks with housing available.
