Rotation Guide & Goals
For the Research Elective, please complete the Research Elective Request. For away electives and research electives please see the “Away Elective” and “Custom Elective”.
The Scientific Writing Elective is a 4-week course that teaches early career researchers (residents, fellows and faculty) to become effective and efficient scientific writers. Through a combination of didactics, small group and individual work time, participants learn the mechanics of effective writing and will practice their skills as they prepare a manuscript for publication. By the end of the course, all participants will have developed a manuscript and cover letter for submission to an academic journal. For more information about the course, please contact Alyssa Bogetz, MSW, Associate Program Director of Scholarship and Director of the Scholarly Concentrations Program.
