The Scientific Writing Elective is a 4-week course that teaches early career researchers (residents, fellows and faculty) to become effective and efficient scientific writers. Through a combination of didactics, small group and individual work time, participants learn the mechanics of effective writing and will practice their skills as they prepare a manuscript for publication. By the end of the course, all participants will have developed a manuscript and cover letter for submission to an academic journal.
