Rotation Guide & Goals
Pediatric housestaff in the Department of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine are offered the opportunity to enrich their knowledge of perinatal and neonatal medicine during the NICU elective rotation. The focus of the housestaff experience is to strengthen their understanding of neonatal intensive care by providing additional learning opportunities caring for critically ill newborns. This rotation will also give you the opportunity to spend time on the Purple NICU team to learn more about Neonatal Cardiology.
