Rotation Guide & Goals
- This elective rotation in the Complex Primary Care Clinic is designed to provide residents with a spectrum of experience in the ambulatory care of the child with medical complexity (CMC). All residents will participate in team-based care, working closely with families, care coordinators, parent mentors, social work, and pharmacists. There is flexibility for each resident to help design the elective to support individual career development/interests, which may include increased focus on clinical skills for technology-dependent children, condition-specific surveillance, managing home health services and durable medical equipment needs, multidisciplinary care conferences, or transition to adult care.
