Physician Scientist Schedule

We offer three different potential schedules for our physician-scientist track residents. We have successfully had residents on all three pathways in residency.

  1. Integrated Research Pathway (IRP):  3 years residency + 3 years fellowship; allows for 11 months of research during residency
  2. Accelerated Research Pathway (ARP): 2 years residency + 4 years fellowship; allows for an extra year of research during fellowship
