How to Apply
The Stanford Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship uses the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). We accept applications from candidates with at least 3 years postgraduate training in their primary specialty.
In alignment with our mission to train clinicians who are experts in providing serious illness care to all children, we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and life experiences. In your application, please share how you believe your background, life experiences, and interests align with Stanford Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program’s mission.

Application
Application and supporting materials should be submitted via ERAS:
· Personal Statement
· Letters of recommendation (3) from individuals who can speak to your interest in palliative care
· Current CV
· USMLE or COMLEX Transcript
· Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE or “Dean's Letter”)
· Medical School Transcript
· ECFMG Status Report (International Medical Graduates only)
International Medical Graduates (IMG)
The Stanford Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program welcomes applications from IMGs who have completed an ACGME-accredited general pediatrics residency. Further requirements and application procedures for IMGs applying to Stanford can be found at the Stanford Graduate Medical Education website. Stanford GME sponsors J1 visas for graduates of international medical schools.
