Why did you pursue a career in medicine?
What drew me to medicine was the opportunity to connect with patients while applying scientific knowledge to improve their health.
What is a challenge you experience in pursuing a career in medicine?
Finding balance between work and family.
What is the most fulfilling part of your work?
I value the opportunity to collaborate on difficult medical questions, finding new approaches that can make a real difference for patients. I also love working with fellows and residents.
What strategies do you use to maintain your own well-being?
Prioritizing time with my family and staying active—whether through walking, running, or hiking.
What advice would you give someone starting in the field?
Practicing medicine is an incredible privilege! Be open to new collaborations and opportunities
