Community Building Events

Faculty Lunches

The Office of Engagement & Opportunity hosts quarterly Faculty Lunches for all faculty to network, build community, and enjoy activities with one another.

Peds Food Fair

Every year, the Office of Engagement & Opportunity hosts the Peds Food Fair to celebrate food and community. The event features food from a variety of cuisines. We look forward to hosting this event each fall!

Departmental Community Socials

The Office of Engagement & Opportunity hosts a variety of department socials originally through the ARISE (Act, Respond, Include, Sustain, Empower) Community Building Action Team. These events are open to faculty and staff in the department, and we have enjoyed boba, a book swap, a film screening, and jeopardy over Zoom. Our office plans on hosting more events to continue to build community within our department!
