In light of the University’s guidance around social distancing, we have reviewed our upcoming Pediatric Grand Rounds sessions and have decided to move forward with virtual sessions for the immediate future.

Session Description

Drs. Fuerch and Wall will discuss state of pediatric medical device development including the minimal US FDA approvals for children. They will emphasize Stanford based efforts to enhance and expand pediatric medical device innovation including: the UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium, Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign and Fogarty Innovation.

  • Validate why innovation in pediatrics needs special attention and considerations
  • Describe how the Biodesign process can be applied to pediatric health technology innovation
  • Examine opportunities for involvement at Stanford Children's
