Session Description
Drs. Fuerch and Wall will discuss state of pediatric medical device development including the minimal US FDA approvals for children. They will emphasize Stanford based efforts to enhance and expand pediatric medical device innovation including: the UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium, Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign and Fogarty Innovation.

- Describe how the Biodesign process can be applied to pediatric health technology innovation
