Current Senior Fellows

Anna Deitch, MD

Pediatric Electrophysiology

Training Dates: 7/07/2024 - 7/06/2025

Anna joined our program as a pediatric cardiology (and chief) fellow after completing her pediatrics residency at Boston Children's and earning her undergraduate degree and MD from Indiana University where she was elected to AOA and was the recipient of her medical school's top research award for her contributions to the health and welfare of children.

Her work on evaluating necrotizing enterocolitis in infants with CHD was recently published as well as her review of arrhythmias in Williams syndrome. She was selected as a fellow editor for Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology this year, and has recently presented her Quality Improvement efforts to reduce adverse events due to flecainide toxicity in pediatric patients. Meanwhile, she's finishing up her book chapter on cardioversion and defibrillation

Anna enjoys spending time with her kitty cat, hiking (top of the list - Inca trail to Machu Picchu), traveling, and bass fishing. Anna is thrilled to remain at Stanford for her advanced 4th year in electrophysiology, so you will definitely find her in the EP lab putting in ICDs and looking for those AH jumps

Lyndsey Hunter-Adamson, MD

Pediatric Echocardiography

Training Dates: 7/07/2024 - 7/06/2025

Lyndsey joined us from UCSF after earning her MD at St. Louis University in Missouri where she was AOA. She completed her categorical fellowship in pediatric cardiology here at LPCH. She is staying to complete an advanced imaging fourth year where she is focused on fetal echocardiography. While in St. Louis, she published a retrospective review of results from device closure for Fontan fenestration at her institution. Her research throughout fellowship has focused on the application of strain echocardiography in pediatric patients. She has presented her research at ASE and is looking forward to continuing her work this year. In her free time, she is an avid hiker/backpacker, having backpacked for 30 days on the John Muir Trail.

Azadeh Issapour, MD

Azadeh was a hospitalist in the Columbia CICU after having completed her residency there. She earned her undergraduate degree at Stony Brook and MD at Albert Einstein where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award in her last year for exceptional academic and clinical performance. During her CICU year she worked with Usha Krishnan on a PH study evaluating ambrisentan and tadalafil which she has presented internationally and at ACC. She is fluent in Persian, is a great cook, and enjoys snowboarding.
