This is a highly competitive award, as some of the best and brightest medical students are nominated from across the country. We are very proud of this accomplishment!

Residency Program Spotlight

We are Family Medicine residents at Stanford-O'Connor Family Medicine Residency and wanted to send you a short intro to our program! First of all, if you are still on the fence or wondering what Family Medicine entails: we truly take care of patients "womb to tomb"-- providing care for newborns, children, & adults, including pregnant and geriatric patients. Many times, we are the primary physician for a whole family, or deliver a patient and follow them through adulthood. Family Medicine also allows for a lot of flexibility in terms of what your career will look like or if you wish to pursue an area more in depth: inpatient vs. outpatient, sports medicine, addiction, palliative/geriatrics, global health, and OB, just to name a few!
