Stanford Front Line Evidence Service

The Stanford Front Line COVID-19 Consult Service was created in response to growing demand from primary care clinicians at Stanford for succinct, evidence-based summaries of the rapidly-evolving body of literature and popular press coverage surrounding COVID-19. The service is staffed by Stanford medical and physician assistant students who, with faculty oversight, produce responses through rigorous literature review and synthesis of the best available evidence, providing real-world experiences with evidence-based medicine practices. In an effort to help mitigate the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underserved communities, the Stanford Front  Line COVID-19 Consult Service is now in the process of scaling up to meet the needs of providers at local community clinics.
