Welcome from the Vice Chief for Education

Welcome to our PCPH  Education Section website. Our mission is to join together and support our medical educators, and to promote medical education scholarship, a culture of wellness and mentorship, collaboration, innovation, patient and family engagement, and value-added medical education.  Whether you are a current or prospective faculty member or trainee, or someone interested in learning about what is going on in education and educational scholarship in primary care and population health, we invite you to partner with us. We believe that together we can contribute to better health and improved health care for our patients and communities. If you are a clinician, perhaps you will be inspired to consider how you might incorporate patients and their caregivers into your teaching. Let's build our education community, together!

We are continuously engaged in innovation, inspired by the tremendous needs of our patients, their families, and our communities. Our faculty, staff, students, residents, and patients are all part of our collective effort toward scholarly education, educational scholarship, and promotion of primary care and population health principles. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate in our learners and clinicians the passion to improve lives and transform the health of the communities they will serve as physicians, scientists, and healthcare leaders.

Students, Residents, Faculty, and Community Partners! Now is the time to get involved in Primary Care, Population, and Community Health. We are proud of our educational programs and delighted to invite you to join us. Students, Residents, Faculty, and Community Partners!
