Integrated Behavioral Health
Stanford Primary Care’s Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Program aims to facilitate patient access to high-quality, evidence-based and compassionate behavioral health care through interdisciplinary collaboration and education in primary care. Our vision is to build an innovative IBH program that improves the health of our population by delivering the right care to the right patient at the right time.
Our IBH providers include Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who offer care coordination and short-term behavioral health support (6-8 sessions) for patients with behavioral health needs. We also have Primary Care Provider IBH Champions who have additional training in mental health care and offer patients assessments, time-limited behavioral interventions and medication management. Our IBH Consulting Psychiatry team supervises our IBH LCSWs, offers eConsults, curbside consultations, crisis support and psychoeducation for our faculty and learners.
