Congratulations Ruben Luo, PhD, Michael S. Bereman Mid-Career Investigator Awardee!

We are excited to announce Dr. Ruben Luo as the 2025 recipient of the the Michael S. Bereman Award for Clinical Science Innovation by a Mid-Career Investigator. His groundbreaking work in advancing top-down mass spectrometry techniques and coupling label-free optical sensing with mass spectrometry has significantly contributed to the characterization of proteoforms and the discovery of diagnostic markers. Through his innovative research, Ruben has helped push the boundaries of clinical proteomics and its application to laboratory medicine.

The Michael S. Bereman Award recognizes recent innovations in clinical science from early- and mid-career scientists. The awardee is honored at the annual meeting of MSACL, where they will be invited to give a lecture. Nominees will be reviewed annually by a rolling award committee.
