2022 Stanford-HBMC Research Retreat

Held on September 9, 2022 (a virtual event)

The Stanford-HBMC Research Retreat, held September 9, 2022, showcased the summer research projects of 38 rising second-year medical students from Meharry Medical College, Morehouse School of Medicine and Howard University College of Medicine.

Each student mentee was paired with research mentors from Stanford University School of Medicine for an 8-week summer research experience.

The retreat was a wonderful display of scientific exploration, innovation and creativity. We thank all of the students for their enthusiastic participation. We also thank the Stanford mentors, research assistants, postdoctoral researchers and near peer mentors for their support.
