Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Symposium

May 28-31, 2024

The Pathology Department is excited to present its inaugural DEI Symposium, highlighting renowned speakers. During this critical period in medicine, pathologists are often left wondering how they can contribute to patient-centered discussions about diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This symposium will push attendees to think critically about how to provide a more thoughtful approach to everyday practices in regards to patient care, and will also seek to encourage everyone to create and foster a safe and welcoming academic environment for all members of the department.

Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

If you need a disability-related accommodation to participate in person, please contact the Diversity & Access Office at: disability.access@stanford.edu or [650] 725-0326. Requests should be received at least one week prior to the event/activity. For more information please go here: Disability & Access Office
