Support Forums and Communities for Parkinson's

Joining an online support forum or community connects you with others in similar circumstances.  The seven online communities listed here are for people with Parkinson's disease as well as family and friends.  They are always open — day or night.

There are often two ways to engage with these forums — as an anonymous reader and as a poster.  Usually to post questions, comments, or replies, one must become a member.  Depending on the content of your posts, members may be able to remain anonymous.  If you post a question to a message board, replies from other group members trickle in over hours or days.  Some communities have a moderator to 'police' the forums, others do not.

If you prefer real-time communication, perhaps seeing the people you are communicating with, check out our list of scheduled group meetings.
