Stanford-led Parkinson's Caregiver-only Support Group Meetings on SF Peninsula

Stanford is proud to lead five Parkinson's disease (PD) caregiver-only support group meetings on the San Francisco Peninsula.  We welcome caregivers who live or work in these areas to join us:

Pre-pandemic, these groups meet face-to-face, in churches or care facilities.  During the pandemic, these groups are meeting virtually.  For some of the meetings, you are welcome to join by phone-only or video.  For other meetings, attendees join by video.  We hope to re-establish our face-to-face meetings (even masked face to masked face meetings) as soon as it is safe to do so.

Contact the group leaders about being added to the meeting reminder email list for these meetings.  Our meetings are listed below.

Occasionally, our caregiver-only support group members are invited to virtual events. View recordings of these events.

Why caregiver-only meetings?  Caregivers need to have their own support group meetings or gatherings because they need to vent, share, learn tips and resources, and receive support from others walking the same path. Ideally, a caregiver to someone with Parkinson's Disease can attend a PD-specific caregiver support group. Or someone dealing with Lewy Body Dementia can attend an LBD-specific caregiver support group. And so on.

Do you live or work outside of the SF Peninsula? Please check out our list of all PD caregiver-only support groups in Northern California.
